Born in Germany and raised in Jamaica, Melanie Ribbe's roots run deep in the essence of music. From recording bedroom mixtapes at the tender age of 8 to gracing the world stage, her journey is a testament to the passion she breathes into every beat.

Driven by an early determination to turn her passion into a career, Melanie enrolled in the London Academy of Music Production, where she mastered the art of music. In 2014, signed by her first agent, Melanie officially marked the beginning of her remarkable career.

From Miami to Ibiza: Rise to Residency

Melanie's official debut at the Miami Music Week in 2015 was just the beginning. Soon after, she secured a coveted residency at Amnesia Ibiza and Cova Santa Ibiza, hosting her own party, "Melanie Ribbe & Friends." Her two-season stint on the island propelled her to play amongst the industry heavyweights.

Her debut EP on Moon Harbour, "Get It Right," climbed Beatport's top 100 chart, setting the stage for a series of stimulating and groovy releases on labels like Saved, Viva Limited, Mindshake, and Roush. Collaborations with Paco Osuna and Reboot showcased her versatility.

In 2018, Melanie secured a residency at Brazil's hottest new venue, 'Ame Club.' In 2020, she ventured into entrepreneurship, founding her music label, Agápe Muzik, and introducing Agápe Showcases alongside a video streaming series, "Melanie Ribbe x Drop," on YouTube.

June 2021 saw the release of her first artist album, "DANCE AGAIN," on her label Agápe Muzik, a testament to her evolution as an artist.
