World Club Dome 2015

Over 100,000 fans at the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME transform the Commerzbank Arena into the biggest club in the world!

Up to 40,000 people a day converged on the 500,000-m² site, which BigCityBeats had modified and fitted out for the occasion. Breaking its own record for attendance figures, the event saw over 100,000 enthusiastic fans from 24 countries and 150 DJs and live acts from 30 different nations bringing Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena to boiling point. For the third year in succession BigCityBeats realised its vision of creating “the biggest club in the world”. In three short years the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME has become one of Europe’s most important electronic music events.

“I associate BigCityBeats with a very special feeling. That’s why I picked the WORLD CLUB DOME for my German date,” says the world’s No.1 DJ, HARDWELL, who once again played his only German festival gig at the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME.

After the event’s finale, Councillor Markus Frank, patron of the event and Head of Business for the City of Frankfurt, thanked the organisers on behalf of the municipality. “The BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME was a gigantic event, absolutely first class, and also a fantastic opportunity for our city to showcase itself to the international stars of the electronic music scene and a multitude of fans from around the world. A big thank-you to the hugely dedicated organisers, Bernd and Carina Breiter, who once again exceeded themselves in creating an experience that was bigger and brighter than anything that had gone before.”

Yet the spirit of the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME was not limited to the stadium site. The BigCityBeats ICE train whisked over 400 fans from Paris to Frankfurt at speeds of up to 200 mph. Fans from London had the option of warming up for the weekend of the year with DJ EDX, cruising to Frankfurt at 30,000 feet in the BigCityBeats Boeing 757. And 1,000 EDM lovers savoured a new kind of airport clubbing in the Dorian Gray 2.0 at Frankfurt Airport.

Since the event, the BigCityBeats Vol.22 WORLD CLUB DOME edition has been the talk of the scene and is once again surging into the Top 10. In the immediate aftermath of the event the label’s own release even made it to No. 2 in the iTunes album chart.

Fans can start psyching themselves for the 2016 edition of the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME, scheduled for 3rd, 4th and 5th June. Early-bird ticket sales are already open and the box office will be open until midnight on 12th June 2015. On Facebook, registrations for BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME 2016 are breaking records. In four days over 30,000 fans signed up for next year!

But no one has to wait until 2016 to enjoy the next major BigCityBeats event. The SommerTagTraum in Ravenburg with David Guetta, Showtek, Blasterjaxx, Robin Schulz and Hypercat, to name but a few, is scheduled for 4th July.
