South African-born and Barcelona-based, Daniella da Silva
brings a unique emotional depth to her blend of industrial
rawness, moving synths, and infectious rhythms. Describing her
sets as “a beautiful slap in the face,” she makes audiences smile,
cry, and dance all at once, always with love and energy at the
core.
From Berlin’s cult HÖR club to major stages at Free Your Mind
Festival and ULTRA in Peru and Chile, Daniella leaves a lasting
mark behind the decks. Her passion for sound naturally led her
to production, creating hard techno tracks full of nuance,
released on labels like Suaara, ART.143, and Reckless.
Daniella’s musical journey began with deep and Afro house,
before a transformative rave experience set her on the path to
becoming a versatile, crowd-connecting DJ. She has since
played South African events like Truth and Carfax, toured India,
performed at ADE’s Verknipt, and established her unique voice
in Berlin.
Once inspired by icons like Sven Väth, Freddy K, and Jeff Mills,
Daniella da Silva now stands alongside them, building a devoted
fanbase and shaping the hard techno scene from the front.
